A picture of me from last year, deciding to keep all of my piercings or take them all out was a big decision for me. I knew I couldn’t keep them if I wanted to work at The High Museum so I decided that my identity wasn’t attached to the metal that clinged to my face. I don’t miss them, I enjoy being able to stuff my face into a pillow again.
