Dear Bo,

This morning you passed away. We knew it was coming, and today we couldn’t let you go through anymore pain. Wherever dogs go when they leave this world, I know you’re going to love it there. They gained a really amazing, photogenic, and talkative dog. Your arthritis got really bad, and we weren’t expecting that tumor on your hip to be the reason for your departure. No matter how much we prepared for you to leave us, the lack of your presences is profound.

We rescued you over a two years ago, we didn’t know in time, you actually rescued us. I will be forever grateful for your friendship and your love. You truly made photography worth pursing. And I owe you so much more than a blog entry.

We’ll see each other soon.

Love,
Your family.

Bo Bear scared me this morning. I had to take him to the vet because he started acting in pain. I dropped him off at 8am and he wagged his tail once he saw all the nurses coming to tend to him. Bo has always been a ladies man. They said worst case scenario he had kidney stones, which meant I was worried sick about him throughout the entire day.
I got a call around 2pm to come pick him up and to talk to the doctor. Come to find out, Bo bear, is considered geriatric. The poor dogs bones aren’t working like they used to. He is now officially an old man. After being sent home with joint supplements that he now has to take for the rest of his life, the first thing he did when he got in the house was chase after the puppies for stealing his tennis ball while he was gone. Even with me yelling at him to cool his jets, he was running around the living room dividing ass whooping’s amongst the puppies.
Brittle bones or not, Bo is still the Godfather of the household. He didn’t want anybody to forget that.  High-res
