Hamboards, the surf-skate longboard.
A family of 7 surfers from neighboring city Huntington Beach set out to replicate the feeling of surfing on land. The end result are these Hamboards, a longboard that looks like a mini surfboard on skate trucks and wheels. The project took the family nearly 8 years to dial in, but they finally got it figured out.
Designer and illustrator Brad Woodward recently worked with Herb Lester to develop this incredible map of Los Angeles. How to Find Old LA, “a guide to the old LA that lives on today,” features 39 entries that give visitors a glimpse into the vintage Los Angeles witnessed in movies and TV.
